Shiras Park, known as Picnic Rocks is the Home of the OUTBACK Art Fair on July 25 & 26th, 2009. This is the 16th annual OUTBACK and we have another great line up. Our artists, fine crafts people, and several authors have a wonderful array of items for your shopping pleasures. Pottery, glass, fiber, fabrics, wood, watercolors, oil paintings, photos, carvings, metalworks, soaps and lotions, cement, stones, toys, yaya hats, jewelry and gifts galore!

Our Marquette Sister City Artists will have a booth featuring art by Taro Kojima and Mayumi Kakimi, Demostrations by Black Dragon Martial Arts, Music by Johnny Bryant, great food and that summer staple kettle korn. Also a special "Project Smiles."

The playground is here for the kids, come stroll through, sit a spell, shop (do your holiday shopping) and have great food. Visit the information booths. Presque Isle Park Advisory, Save the Wild UP, Marquette Historical Society to name a few...

OUTBACK Show Hours are Saturday, July 26th, 10-6 and Sunday, come and enjoy the show from 10-5.
